Tajikistan 

ICNL s partner worked in close cooperation with USAID, Counterpart Tajikistan, and other USAID 

grantees. ICNL also cooperates closely with other international organizations, including OSCE, 

UNDP, UNHCR, Norwegian Refugee Council, World Bank, Asian Developing Bank, Aga Khan 

Foundation and other organizations. OSCE, UNDP, and UNHCR offices in Tajikistan regularly 

involve ICNL in NGO development and law reform projects affecting NGOs. ICNL also cooperates 

extensively with the national government (ministries and parliament) and local governmental 

authorities.  ICNL's local consultant is also regularly invited to and participates in international 

conferences involving issues related to the work of NGOs.
