On May 24, Ashgabat CSSC Program Coordinator attended VIP Seminar on the theme:  Using of 

Economic & Business Theory for Economic Development of Turkmenistan  provided by Ed Net.   

Orientation was conducted for the new CSSC Assistant and included topics such as the range of 

consultations on the issues concerning the current work of Ashgabat CSSC and the Healthy 

Communities Program. The Action Plan of Professional development completed.  

On June 19 A CSSC Manager and Healthy Communities Program Assistant participated in the 

seminar  SIDO  on Women rights protection    performance and practical application conducted 

by ABA/CEELI .  

2. Dashoguz  CSSC 

Activity Overview 

Three Discussion Clubs were conducted. At the last meeting the issues of Dashoguz CSSC 

reporting and planning were discussed to inform clients and keep the feedback loop alive. The 

topic of the next roundtable is social partnership.   

On April 11 the Dashoguz CSSC visited the delegation from British Embassy. They organized a 

meeting with NGOs and initiative groups and a visit to Sarygamysh offices in Turkmenbashi city. 

The training needs assessment was carried out by distributing questionnaires, call to NGOs and 

establishing training stand. The training schedule for the next months will be based on result of 

this assessment.  

During April the Center consulted on the design of 10 Project proposals for the Counterpart 

Support Grant Program. Two projects of Beekeepers Club and Dovletiyar were approved by the 

Grant Committee.  

Two Dashoguz CSSC Newsletters issued.  

Databases on local experts for CAG consultation and on volunteers are installed and working.  

Internal Capacity Building 

Rozylul Ermekova started to work for Dashoguz CSSC as an Assistant of the Healthy 

Communities Project on June 1

.

On April 1 2 the Dashoguz CSSC participated at the Network meeting organized by hub office. 

The Manager of Ashgabat CSSC together with Managers of Lebab and  Ashgabat CSSCs carried 

out Retreat for hub and CSSCs.  

Dashoguz staff and volunteers participated at Volunteers Forum held on May 2 4. 

The OD Coordinator and Financial Manager conducted internal audit for Dashoguz CSSC and 

submitted the report to the Country Director.  

During this reporting period the Center conducted 6 training monitorings and provided feedback 

to the local trainers.   

The Dashoguz CSSC staff participated in Counterpart's training NGO and Community, Project 

Design, and Membership Development.  

On May 2 4, 2003 staff and volunteers of Dashoguz CSSC participated in the  Volunteer Forum  

hold in the Ashgabat.  

Dashoguz CSSC Program Coordinator trained in Quick Books and together with Financial 

Manager systemized all financial documentations.  

On May 23 Dashoguz CSSC participated at the workshop  Lessons Learned  and the mini 

training Time Management organized by hub office. 

British Embassy presented Dashoguz CSSC equipment to get access to BBC/CNN broadcasting 

service which was installed in the Resource Center of Dashoguz CSSC.  

The Beekeepers Club connected to Dashoguz CSSC server and get access to free e mail, Internet.  

3. Lebap CSSC 

Activity Overview 

For reporting period Lebap CSSC conducted two meetings for Lebap NGOs and initiative groups. 

Issues of establishing partnerships, exchanging experiences and information sharing were 

highlighted.
